Եւ եկին նոքա յԵկբատանս, եւ մտին նոքա ՛ի տուն Հռագուելայ. եւ ե՛լ ընդ առաջ նոցա Սառա, եւ ողջոյն ետ նոցա` եւ նոքա նմա, եւ տարաւ զնոսա ՛ի տուն:

7:1
1. And they came to Ecbatana, and arrived at the house of Raguel. But Sarah met them; and she saluted them, and they her; and she brought them into the house.
7:1 And when they were come to Ecbatane, they came to the house of Raguel, and Sara met them: and after they had saluted one another, she brought them into the house:

Եւ Հռագուէլ ասէ ցՀեդնա ցկին իւր. Տեսանե՞ս զի նմա՛ն է պատանեակս Տուբիթայ եղբօրորդւոյն իմոյ[63]:

2. And he said to Edna his wife, How like is the young man to Tobit my cousin.
7:2 Then said Raguel to Edna his wife, How like is this young man to Tobit my cousin:

Եհարց ցնոսա Հռագուէլ եւ ասէ. Ուստի՞ էք եղբարք: Եւ ասեն ցնա. Յորդւոցն Նեփթաղիմա՛յ եմք որք գերեալն են ՛ի Նինուէ[64]:

3. And Raguel asked them, From whence are ye, brethren? And they said unto him, We are of the sons of Naphtali, which are captives in Nineveh.
7:3 And Raguel asked them, From whence are ye, brethren? To whom they said, We are of the sons of Nephthalim, which are captives in Nineve:

Եւ ասէ ցնոսա. Ճանաչէ՞ք դուք զՏուբիթ զեղբայրն մեր: Եւ ասեն. Ճանաչեմք: Եւ ասէ ցնոսա. Ո՛ղջ է:

4. And he said unto them, Know ye Tobit our brother? But they said, We know him. And he said unto them, Is he in good health?
7:4 Then he said to them, Do ye know Tobit our kinsman? And they said, We know him. Then said he, Is he in good health:

Եւ նոքա ասեն. Ո՛ղջ է, եւ կենդանի՛ է: Եւ ասէ Տուբիա. Հա՛յր իմ է:

5. But they said, He is both alive, and in good health: and Tobias said, He is my father.

Եւ յարուցեալ վաղվաղակի Հռագուէլ համբուրեաց զնա, եւ ելաց յոյժ:

6. And Raguel sprang up, and kissed him, and wept,

եւ օրհնեաց զնա` եւ ասէ ցնա. Բարւոյ եւ բարերարի առն որդի: Եւ իբրեւ լուաւ թէ Տուբիթայ կացին աչքն, ելա՛ց:

7. and blessed him, and said unto him, Thou art the son of an honest and good man. And when he had heard that Tobit had lost his sight, he was grieved, and wept;
7:7 And blessed him, and said unto him, Thou art the son of an honest and good man. But when he had heard that Tobit was blind, he was sorrowful, and wept:

եւ տրտմեցաւ ի՛նքն` եւ Հեդնա կինն իւր, եւ Սառա դուստր նոցա: Եւ ընկալան` եւ հանգուցին զնոսա մեծաւ ուրախութեամբ[65]:

8. and Edna his wife and Sarah his daughter wept. And they received them gladly; and they killed a ram of the flock, and set store of meat before them.
But Tobias said to Raphael, Brother Azarias, speak of those things of which thou didst talk in the way, and let the matter be finished.
7:8 And likewise Edna his wife and Sara his daughter wept. Moreover they entertained them cheerfully:

Եւ զենին նոցա խո՛յ մի ՛ի խաշանց, եւ յօրինեցին եդին առաջի նոցա խորտիկս բազումս: Եւ ասէ Տուբիա ցՀռափայէլ. Եղբա՛յր Ազարիա` արդ խօսեա՛ց դու վասն որոյ խօսէիրն դու ՛ի ճանապարհի անդ, զի եղիցի ա՛յնպէս: Եւ դարձոյց զբանսն անդրէն առ Հռագուէլ: Եւ ասէ Հռագուէլ ցՏուբիա. Կե՛ր ա՛րբ եւ ուրա՛խ լեր զի քեզ ա՛նկ է առնուլ զմանուկն իմ. բայց ասե՛մ քեզ զճշմարիտն. ետո՛ւ ես զմանուկդ իմ եւթն առն, եւ յորժամ կամէի՛ն մտանել առ դա` մեռանէին ՛ի նմին գիշերի: Այլ դու այժմ որդեակ իմ ուրա՛խ լեր[66]:

9. And he communicated the thing to Raguel: and Raguel said to Tobias, Eat and drink, and make merry:

Then said Tobias to Raphael, Brother Azarias, speak of those things of which thou didst talk in the way, and let this business be dispatched. KJV [9] So he communicated the matter with Raguel: and Raguel said to Tobias, Eat and drink, and make merry: KJV [10] For it is meet that thou shouldest marry my daughter: nevertheless I will declare unto thee the truth. KJV [11] I have given my daughter in marriage te seven men, who died that night they came in unto her: nevertheless for the present be merry:

Եւ ասէ Տուբիա. Ո՛չինչ ճաշակեմ ես աստ` մինչեւ հաստատէք առ իս զիրսդ:

10. for it appertaineth unto thee to take my child. Howbeit I will shew thee the truth.
7:10 KJV [11] But Tobias said, I will eat nothing here, till we agree and swear one to another:

Եւ ասէ Հռագուէլ. Եւ ա՛ռ զնա քեզ ըստ օրինաց. զի դու եղբայր ես աղջկանն, եւ քե՛զ լիցի:

11. I have given my child to seven men, and whensoever they came in unto her, they died in the night. But for the present be merry. And Tobias said, I will taste nothing here, until ye make covenant and enter into covenant with me.
7:13 KJV [12] Raguel said, Then take her from henceforth according to the manner, for thou art her cousin, and she is thine:

այլ ողորմածն Աստուած աջողեսցէ՛ ձեզ ՛ի բարիս:

12. And Raguel said, Take her to thyself from henceforth according to the manner: thou art her brother, and she is thine: but the merciful God shall give all good success to you.

Եւ կոչեաց նա զՍառա զդուստրն իւր, եւ կալաւ նա զձեռանէ նորա, եւ ետ զնա Տուբիայ կնութեան: Եւ ասէ. Ահաւասիկ ըստ օրինացն Մովսիսի ա՛ռ դու զնա. եւ տա՛ր դու զնա առ հայր քո: Եւ օրհնեաց զնոսա:

13. And he called his daughter Sarah, and took her by the hand, and gave her to be wife to Tobias, and said, Behold, take her to thyself after the law of Moses, and lead her away to thy father. And he blessed them;

Եւ կոչեաց նա զՀեդնա զկինն իւր, եւ առեալ նա տա՛յր աղջկանն զամենայն ինչս զտանն. եւ հաստատէ՛ր մուրհակօք եւ կնքէր:

14. And he called Edna his wife, and took a book, and wrote an instrument, and sealed it.

15. And they began to eat.

Եւ կոչեաց Հռագուէլ զՀեդնա զկին իւր` եւ ասէ ցնա. Քո՛յր պատրաստեա՛ դու զմեւս սենեակն` եւ տա՛ր անդր զաղջիկն[67]:

16. And Raguel called his wife Edna, and said unto her, Sister, prepare the other chamber, and bring her in thither.

Եւ արա՛ր որպէս եւ հրամայեաց նմա, եւ տարա՛ւ զնա անդր, եւ ելաց. եւ ջնջէ՛ր մաքրէր մայրն զարտասուս աղջկանն:

17. And she did as he bade her, and brought her in thither: and she wept, and she received the tears of her daughter, and said unto her,

եւ ասէր ցնա. Քաջալերեա՛ց դուստր` Տէր երկնից եւ երկրի տացէ՛ քեզ ուրախութիւն եւ ցնծութիւն, փոխանակ տրտմութեանս այսորիկ. քաջալերեա՛ց դուստր` քաջալերեա՛ց:

18. Be of good comfort, my child; the Lord of heaven and earth give thee favour for this thy sorrow: be of good comfort, my daughter.
