Եւ իբրեւ կատարեցին նոքա ուտե՛լ զընթրիսն, տարա՛ն զՏուբիա առ աղջիկն:

յարեա՛ւ Տուբիա ՛ի գահոյից անտի` եւ ասէ. Արի՛ եւ դու քոյր` եւ կացցուք յաղօթս` եւ ողորմեսցի մեզ Աստուած: Եւ սկսաւ Տուբիա կալ յաղօթս:

4. But after they were both shut in together, Tobias rose up from the bed, and said, Sister, arise, and let us pray that the Lord may have mercy on us.

Եւ ասէ. Օրհնեալ ես դու Տէր Աստուած հարցն մերոց, եւ օրհնեալ է անուն քո սուրբ` եւ փառաւորեալ մինչեւ յաւիտեանս. օրհնեսցե՛ն զքեզ երկինք եւ ամենայն ստացուածք քո:

5. And Tobias began to say, Blessed art thou, O God of our fathers, and blessed is thy holy and glorious name for ever; let the heavens bless thee, and all thy creatures.

Դո՛ւ արարեր զԱդամ եւ ետուր նմա օգնական զԵւա, հաստատութիւն նմա զկինն նորա. եւ ՛ի նոցանէն եղեւ ամենայն զաւակ մարդկան. դու ասացեր եթէ` Ո՛չ է բարւոք լինել մարդոյն միայն. արասցուք նմա օգնական նման նմա[69]:

6. Thou madest Adam, and gavest him Eve his wife for a helper and a stay: of them came the seed of men: thou didst say, it is not good that the man should be alone; let us make him a helper like unto him.

Եւ արդ Տէր` ո՛չ եթէ վասն պոռնկութեան ինչ առնում ես ինձ զքոյրս զայս` այլ ճշմարտութեամբ. նայեա՛ց Տէր:

7. And now, O Lord, I take not this my sister for lust, but in truth: command that I may find mercy and grow old with her.

եւ ողորմեա՛ց ինձ, զի ՛ի միասին ծերասցուք: Եւ ասէ աղջիկն ընդ նմա: Եւ ննջեցին երկոքին ՛ի միասին ՛ի գիշերին յայնմիկ:

եւ ասէ ցՀեդնա ցկին իւր. Յղեա՛ դու զմի ոք յաղախնա՛ց այդի, եւ տեսցէ թէ կենդանի՛ է. ապա թէ ոչ` թաղեսցո՛ւք զնա` եւ մի՛ ոք գիտասցէ:

12. and said to Edna his wife, Send one of the maidservants, and let them see whether he be alive: but if not, that we may bury him, and no man know it.

13. So the maidservant opened the door, and went in, and found them both sleeping,

14. and came forth, and told them that he was alive.

Եւ օրհնեաց Հռագուէլ զԱստուած` եւ ասէ. Օրհնեա՛լ ես դու Տէր Աստուած յամենայն օրհնութիւնս եւ ՛ի փառս քո. եւ օրհնեսցեն զքեզ ամենայն սուրբք քո, եւ ամենայն ստեղծուածք քո, եւ ընտրեալք քո օրհնեսցեն զքեզ մինչեւ յաւիտեանս[71]:

8:15
15. And Raguel blessed God, saying,
Blessed art thou, O God, with all pure and holy blessing; and let thy saints bless thee, and all thy creatures; and let all thine angels and thine elect bless thee for ever.
8:15 Then Raguel praised God, and said, O God, thou art worthy to be praised with all pure and holy praise; therefore let thy saints praise thee with all thy creatures; and let all thine angels and thine elect praise thee for ever:
8:18
Օրհնեա՛լ ես դու Տէր Աստուած զի ուրա՛խ արարեր զիս, եւ ո՛չ անց ընդ իս որպէս եւ կարծէին. այլ ըստ բազում ողորմութեանդ քոյ արարե՛ր դու ընդ մեզ:

16. Blessed art thou, because thou hast made me glad; and it hath not befallen me as I suspected; but thou hast dealt with us according to thy great mercy.
8:16 Thou art to be praised, for thou hast made me joyful; and that is not come to me which I suspected; but thou hast dealt with us according to thy great mercy:
8:19
Օրհնեա՛լ ես դու Տէր զի ողորմեցար երկոցունց միամօրուցս. արա՛ դու Տէր ընդ սոսա զողորմութիւնս քո. կատարեա՛ դու զկեանս սոցա ողջութեամբ եւ ուրախութեամբ:

17. Blessed art thou, because thou hast had mercy on two that were the only begotten children of their parents: shew them mercy, O Lord; accomplish their life in health with gladness and mercy.
8:17 Thou art to be praised because thou hast had mercy of two that were the only begotten children of their fathers: grant them mercy, O Lord, and finish their life in health with joy and mercy:

Եւ հրամայեաց նա ծառայից իւրոց խնուլ զգերեզմանն:

18. But he commanded his servants to fill the grave.

19. And he kept the wedding feast for them fourteen days.

Եւ ասէ ցնա Հռագուէլ. Երդմնեցուցանե՛մ զքեզ` մի՛ գնասցես դու աստի մինչեւ կատարեսցին աւուրք չորեքտասան հարսանեացս[72]:

20. And before the days of the wedding feast were finished, Raguel sware unto him, that he should not depart till the fourteen days of the wedding feast were fulfilled;
8:20 For before the days of the marriage were finished, Raguel had said unto him by an oath, that he should not depart till the fourteen days of the marriage were expired:

եւ ապա առցես դու զկէս ընչից իմոց, եւ երթիցես դու եւ աղջիկդ խաղաղութեամբ առ հայրն քո. եւ զայլն ամենայն առնուցուք` յորժամ մեռանիցիմք ես եւ կինս իմ:

21. and that then he should take the half of his goods, and go in safety to his father; and the rest, when I and my wife shall die.
